A “pekoe” leaf grade produced July, 2025 by Mr. A. Dissanayagam at the Mattakelle Estate in the Dimbula region of Sri Lanka. It’s a two leaf and a bud pick of the DT1 cultivar growing at 4,500 feet. The pekoe leaf grade in the high-grown areas of Sri Lanka is much smaller than the pekoe grade of southern Sri Lanka.

Ingredients: black tea 

Steeping Instructions

3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 2 min.

Number of Cups

2 oz makes 19 cups, 4 oz makes 38 cups
